Delallo is looking for a Production Coordinator for their facility in New Stanton, PA. This is a Full-time, Monday through Friday daylight position requiring flexibility to work early morning, long day and weekend shifts as needed.
The Production Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of production planning and execution. This role focuses on optimizing material procurement, coordinating production activities, implementing cost reduction strategies, and assisting the quality department to ensure efficiency and maintain high standards across operations.
Essential Functions:
- Source and procure production packaging materials, raw materials, supplies, and POS displays.
- Purchase materials for any metal and plastic repairs to production equipment.
- Purchase metal and plastic materials for any fabrication and parts needed in production.
- Review production and sales reports for planning, issue purchase orders, and coordinate purchases across locations.
- Conduct price checks, reduce costs through consolidation, negotiate bulk purchasing agreements, and ensure supplier accountability.
- Audit invoices, coordinate returns, and reconcile invoicing and memos to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Ensure the quality of materials, oversee inventory levels, and place defective items on hold.
- Coordinate production activities, analyze production data, maintain recipes, oversee resource allocation, and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Act as a liaison between departments to resolve operational issues promptly and ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize production processes.
- Manage daily production tasks to meet deadlines while upholding quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and experts to effectively plan and execute projects.
- Implement and manage ERP MRP software, develop SOPs for ERP MRP modules, and conduct training for office personnel and production staff.
- Assist with scheduling and management of waste activities to minimize environmental impact.
- Assist the Quality Department with various duties to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Capable of understanding specs and blueprints, with some technical and mechanical experience and background from a purchasing and administrative standpoint.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting desired
- Detailed knowledge and experience in Food Safety, SQF and HACCP preferred
- Ability to confidently make decisions in stressful situations
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, focused on meeting deadlines
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, purchasing, clients, customers and employees
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
