POSITION OVERVIEW

The Demand Planner will be key in aiding our success in delivering a Total Customer Experience. Reporting to the Manager of Purchasing and Planning, your responsibilities will include forecasting multiple product lines, reviewing inventory levels, understanding market trends, and collaborating with sales on business intelligence. For your success, working seamlessly with the market area to provide a high service level to our customers while also ensuring inventory levels remain optimized will be key.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop forecast modeling based on demand patterns and business trends
  • Manage Sales and Operations Planning meetings
  • Work in alignment with market area to understand the needs of our customers to improve forecast accuracy
  • Ensure that inventory is at the correct level to satisfy the demand in the right places
  • Work with factories to understand capacity planning restraints in alignment with forecast

Interviews: Will be conducted virtually and onsite

Position Location: Presently remote with a transition to a hybrid model

REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbally
  • Superior analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under deadlines
  • Self-motivated, skilled in prioritizing deadlines and projects and possess excellent teamwork skills

EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Management or AG Business or comparable degree
  • 2 years’ experience within demand planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in SAP is a plus
  • Experience in production planning is a plus
