The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Count Team Member at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Count Team Member, you will be responsible for the retrieval, transport, and replacement of cash boxes from the slot machines, while following company standards and state and federal laws. Additionally, you will count and sort previous days' soft money accurately and in a timely manner while following all policies and procedures.

Part-time Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Unlock and relock gaming machines.
- Remove cash boxes from gaming machine bases; replace cold empty boxes.
- Transport hot cash boxes to the cart and place them on properly labeled shelves.
- Transports drop boxes to the count room.
- Ensure that all hot cash boxes are removed from carts.
- Ensure all monies are verified, proofed, strapped, and bricked with the required information on the straps.
- Perform as a tea member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation.
- Follow all company, departmental, and state policies and procedures.
- Complies with count room security and surveillance protocols.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Backup led to the Drop Supervisor, performing all supervisory duties including pulling cash boxes and replacing them with cold empty boxes, driving the electric cart, running money machines, and overseeing all aspects of the drop/count.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- New York State Gaming License required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Must be able to handle large amounts of money accurately, honestly, and in a professional manner.
- Role model the GuestPath Universal Service Standards by interacting positively through relationships with guests, fellow associates, and members of the management team displaying genuine concern and mutual respect for people’s needs.
Physical Requirements
- Requires frequent lifting, bending, crouching, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to stand and walk 100% of the shift.
- Exposure to high-volume noise.
