Description/Qualifications
Assist in developing scenarios (including .TIC /.DAT files) for ATDs as required and/or requested by Government to meet wing/local training objectives and RAP/DMO/LSB performance levels. These objectives include all syllabus training, CT, exercise training, evaluations, RAP/DMO/LSB requirements, and special interest items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assist in standing up and documenting TCC Training Coordination Center processes and services.
- Attend CAF exercise planning conference and meetings, such as Red Flag to obtain and understand unit warfighter’s exercise and training requirements and to coordinate the TCC’s plans and scenarios to meet the unit’s training requirements.
- Maintain working relationship with PACAF MTC units, exercise directors and aircrew training system personnel on suggested RAP/DMO/LSB mission training requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of final reports, schedules, presentations, conference papers and lectures, and databases as necessary.
- Provide monthly feedback to the government on PACAF MTC utilization rates and PACAF MTC attendance to LFE, DMO, Virtual Flag RAP events.
- Assist in the development of inter-team training scenarios consistent with security regulations, fighter aviation limitations, simulator limitations, squadron / wing training requirements.
- Monitor PACAF unit Mission Training Center scenario development for execution and training effectiveness and in accordance with the briefed plan.
- Assist in the development, coordination and integration of PACAF airframe Mission Profile events used in scenario development to maximize training.
- Coordinate with DTCs, etc. for mission planning materials (CPD, MTC input sheets, Comm cards, ATOs, ACOs, AODs, Overview sheets, OPTASKLINKs) to fully support local unit RAP/DMO/LSB level aircrew training.
- Maintain the most recent and relevant knowledge of RAP training requirement for all airframes and weapon systems identified in the Statement of Work.
- Coordinate with DTCs, etc. for mission planning materials (CPD, MTC input sheets, Comm cards, ATOs, ACOs, AODs, Overview sheets, OPTASKLINKs) to fully support local unit RAP/DMO/LSB level aircrew training.
- Maintain the most recent and relevant knowledge of RAP training requirements for all airframes and weapon systems identified in the Statement of Work.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of USAF fighter and bomber operations with a specialization in integrated fighter and bomber employment tactics, techniques and procedures.
- Facilitate realistic PACAF theater level (such as: LFE, DMO, etc.) exercises and aircrew training scenarios.
- Help units to identify training requirements that are best accomplished using RAP/DMO/LSB technologies and capabilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Operational flight experience within 3 years as an instructor on the applicable system or performance of similar aircraft simulator instructor duties within 3 years.
- Minimum of 1000 hours in fighter aircraft or as AWACS Mission Crew member Basic Word, Excel, and Power Point Skills.
- Prior DMO operations experience.
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for Top Secret Security Clearance and be SCI eligible per the Special Access Program Nomination Process (SAPNP).
Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Physical Demands: Normal office environment physical requirements.
Work Environment: Work in regular office environment; communicate via computer, telephone and meetings with customer.
