- Oversees the daily operations of the adult basic education programs for the Red Clay Center including placement testing, student schedules, data collection and analysis.
- Responsible for the implementation of state tests to adult education students and maintaining the training status of the examiners.
- Manage student learning platforms.
- Manage driver education registration and programming.
- Manages and inputs data in the LACES data management system.
- Coordinates with the principal, ESL Coordinator and other administrative positions for the general well running of the school.
- Communicates with staff and students about adult education programming policies and procedures.
- Stays current with all state and federal adult education guidelines and requirements.
- Maintains all adult education resources and inventory such as textbooks, testing materials and technology.
- Oversees the school record and finances and the running of the Groves front office.
- Represents the Red Clay Center at all state adult education and data meetings.
- Assists with high school diploma graduation plans as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Position is contingent upon funding.
- Experience with state and federal adult education guidelines, data collection and data management using LACES.
- Experience with Delaware PHRST system.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in data collection, analysis and management.
- Experience in adult education.
- Skilled in MS Office, Google applications, LACES and PHRST.
- Willingness and capability to work flexible hours depending on school needs.

Adult Education Specialist
General Purpose of Position: The Adult Education Specialist reports directly to the Groves principal and is responsible for the administration of the Adult Education programming for the Red Clay Center. This position is contingent upon continued grant funding through the State of Delaware.
