This non-State position is responsible for directing the housing management and social service functions within the Delaware State Housing Authority and working with the Development section in underwriting DSHA owned projects, which includes reviewing/approving operating budget in preconstruction state. The incumbent is responsible for planning and directing the housing management functions such as State Rental Assistance Program, the Moving To Work (MTW) Program which includes the Public Housing Program, and the Section Voucher Program, and also the direct management of Section 8 New Construction projects. The incumbent has responsibility for approving all purchases and expenditures for all management programs. The incumbent is responsible for implementing operating standards and procedures for the Public Housing Program and ensuring compliance of managers to the same.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
