What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting/Controller position at Delcor, Inc?

The position is a full time position paid on a Salary basis. The primary responsibilities are as follows:
· Creates/Implements/Oversees company policies to ensure proper controls are in place.
· Process and pay all taxes as scheduled.
· Work along side CPA to ensure compliance on accounting procedures including monitoring all entries into quickbooks, auditing all reports and documents, ensuring proper storage and disposal of company documents
· Complete billing for change outs, projects, and New Construction
· Process Expense and commission reports for staff
· Properly reconcile bank statements, petty cash and company credit cards as needed and directed by supervisors.
· Make Bank deposits
· Oversee Inventory controls
· Evaluate Job Costing to ensure profit margin expectations are met
· Participate in management meetings and presentations to ownership on financial issues within the company.
· Process all monthly/quarterly/annual agreements.
· Handle all company insurance needs and correspondences.
· Ensure proper entries into the accounting system and the integrity of all Accounting reports.
· Maintain integrity of accounting principles company wide.
· Backup other departments as needed throughout the day.
Job Requirements:
· Must have strong customer and employee relation skills and be able to help with problem resolution if needed.
· Must be up to date on all current accounting practices.
· Must have good organization skills, attention to detail and be able to multi-task.
· Must be able to use all equipment within the office including phones, computers, copier, postage machine etc.
· Must able to work from 8-5 Monday through Friday. Extra hours as needed
· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to do minor lifting on occasion. Not to exceed 30lbs.
