What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Inventory Auditor position at Delek US?
Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, asphalt, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing. The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores which also market motor fuels in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Responsible for verifying audit accuracy by reviewing generated reports. Must review store’s inventory records to identify issues which could cause an audit variance. Must interview store personnel to determine if books are properly maintained and inventory is properly accounted for by the store. Must complete full store audit, without assistance, accurately and in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate inventory counts of retail stock.
- Performs cash counts and audit of other records as may be required in stores.
- Reports audit results to appropriate parties.
- Maintains accurate records of audits performed.
- Maintains list of current suggested retail prices
Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:
2 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:
2 years experience in inventory control
Organizational Leveling:
Requires working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience. Identifies the problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
