Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for organizing and tracking complex tasks for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Company projects. Within DeLine box, a project manager may cover different types of projects, depending on the department they are associated with. They may also work across departments, managing projects in more than one.
Digital Projects will have more emphasis on managing the early stages of development: setting up a schedule, tracking approval, ensuring samples get labeled correctly and sent to clients on a timely basis. Also, maintenance of a database tracking the multiple projects and their status is also the responsibility of the project manager.
Tooling Projects are tied in with quoting and ordering the correct cutting die and/or printing plate for each job that runs through production. This requires close interaction with vendors and DeLine production staff.
Quality Projects involve the gathering information and testing of paper before and after corrugating, as well as before and after converting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Project Manager I:
- Maintain communication with shareholders.
- Attend meetings to discuss opportunities; identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Work with structural and graphic designers to direct, review, or approve project design changes.
- Present and explain samples, reports, or findings to clients (internal or external).
- Develop or implement policies, standards, and procedures for work.
- Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing or writing reports, tracking deliverables, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, or purchasing of materials or services.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively.
- Effective project management: apply company methodology, enforce standards, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished projects.
- Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Participate in development opportunities including training.
- Team management: utilize team members to fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, foster positive communication, acknowledgement, and appreciation.
- Track company lessons learned and share evaluation with team members when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Background Check.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Prior project management experience of over 5 years recommended.
- Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Efficient and well organized.
- Proficiency with calendar systems.
- Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Salary : $50,000 - $54,000
