General Description: perform timely lawn and landscape applications using hand and powered equipment to apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. This position will be on a 4/10 schedule with optional overtime work on Fridays. Hours can be flexible to support your lifestyle and needs. Ability to work independently and responsibly will be essential. Seasonal or year round salaried position option.
Position Requirements:
Must have a valid Drivers license, two years of experience, & WSDA applicators license (our ability to renew). Attention to detail is a must as this position will also be for quality control.
- Apply fertilizer by using either hand or powered equipment
- Spot spray herbicide in ornamental shrub beds without harming the grass or shrubs
- Fill out spray records per application & correspond with the office to keep clear records.
- Snap before and after photos.
- Know what products to use for proper application
- Know how to read labels properly
- Know how to mix the tanks with the proper chemicals
- Document services by filling out our WSDA approved service papers
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Operate hand and power equipment within state and federal guidelines
- Problem solve
- Follow instructions and all safety guidelines
- Report any major landscaping needs to the office by taking a time stamped photo and short description of work needed.
- Ensure insects, pests, and diseases are controlled.
- Ensure weeds are controlled before they become a visible problem.
- *Must perform other assignments when designated
This position demands physical aspects such as walking long distances, walking long distances with a backpack sprayer, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying supplies 50lbs. or more in all weather conditions. Ability to haul trailer and driving long distances required.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
