Our IT Software Engineer team turns business requirements into technology solutions by designing, coding and testing/debugging applications, as well as documenting procedures for use and constantly seeking quality improvements.

What you'll achieve
Dell Technologies is made up of passionate people with diverse backgrounds. The Developer Relations team is looking to drive engagement with developer and DevOps communities to expand Dells positive impact. As one of a handful of Lead Developer Advocates, you will be expected to turn your passion for developers into engaging the communities through multiple interfaces. You will be expected to turn your passion for people to enabling customer through discussing agile methodologies, solving DevOps oriented problems from the top down, to explain a use case or presenting at conferences/forums helping to educate developers and leaders on how Dell, open source, and technologies can solve their problems. You will be the face of Dell in these developer communities.

You will:
- Create engaging content for external DevOps oriented developers (videos, tutorials, sample apps, etc.)
- Be the voice of the developer and champion product improvements on their behalf
- Engage with the Dell Technologies developer community in support forums & social media
- Participate and speak in conferences, events, and hack-a-thons that highlight our products
- Develop software prototypes and demo applications leveraging Dell APIs and SDKs

Essential Requirements
- Experience building Developer Communities and working across multiple communities and customers
- 5 years of developer advocacy and evangelism
- Experience speaking at technology conferences, blogging/writing technical articles with an existing follower base or contributing to an open source project.
- Familiarity with modern methodologies, languages, frameworks, & best practices (Agile, TDD, Python, Go, Java, React, etc.)
- Expert in multiple DevOps tools and principles (Pipelines, Git, code development, cloud native apps, Kubernetes, etc.)
Desirable Requirements
- Experience writing content for developers (i.e., blogs or documentation)
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple languages & platforms
