Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation -
Delmar Nursing and Rehab is a 99 bed skilled nursing facility located in quaint Delmar, Delaware. We are currently seeking a Staff Development Educator who is an energetic, clinical leader passionate about education.
This position is responsible for the education of all employees.
Job Responsibilities :
- Educate a facility wide Infection Control Program.
- Participates in Quality Improvements.
- Oversees annual flu and vaccinations for residents with the Director of Nursing.
- Develop and conducts orientation sessions for all new nursing / general employees.
- Perform pre-employment drug testing, perform PPD testing, both pre-employment and annual. Maintain records for all employees.
- Maintains training programs for the nursing department and identifies areas of interest for presentations.
- Plan, schedule and post monthly calendar of education programs in timely manner.
- Monday through Friday, with the option of a flexible schedule / hours in management role.
- On call rotation.
Qualifications :
- Must have an active RN license in the state of DE.
- Two years professional nursing experience, prior experience as an Educator a plus.
- Possesses effective communication and problem solving skills.
