Shift: 8:30am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $25-$35/hr (based on experience in Grant Administration position or Grant Coordinator position)

Job Description:

Grant Administration is responsible for accuracy of grant oversight.

This position will serve as an analyst under the department. Responsibility will include the day-to-day oversight and internal management of the grant, including within the state’s financial system as needed.

Duties will include serving as liaison with grant leadership, the program implementation implementation team, department-level grant management and department-level fiscal teams to ensure proper setup, maintenance, and alignment of the grant throughout its lifecycle.

This position will communicate and facilitate post award budget modifications, interagency transfers, and assist with mid and end of year reporting in accordance with federal reporting requirements and programmatic changes. This position will support grant leadership with budget forecasting, and expenditure analysis.

This position will also support alignment of all project-level contracts and budgets in accordance with state and federal requirements, as well as other grant-related fiscal or management duties as assigned.

Grant Coordinator is responsible for accuracy of grant application.

This position will be responsible for actively seeking, planning, and applying for grant funding to support assigned projects. The position is responsible for reviewing grant criteria, eligibility, requirements, etc., and drafting a submission on behalf of the division. After submission, and upon award, this position will serve as the project coordinator and grant manager, until the grant-funded staff are hired, and/or responsibilities are transferred to other bureaus within the division. Responsibilities also include other grant and/or project-related duties as assigned.

Standards Qualification

• Education: High school graduate (Preferred)
• Prior grant-writing experience is required.
