What You Will Do
- Review existing BI design and provide data ware house solutions to address issues and concerns from earlier implementations.
- Reduced the code foot print to less than 10% by implementing code reusability and smart metadata capabilities.
- Assist current resources with mentoring and knowledge transfer activities on a need basis.
- Analyzing business processes/requirements, existing transactional database schemas and designing, maintaining, publishing multi-dimensional Data Models (logical/physical), data Dictionary using Entity-Relationship, Dimensional Modeling techniques with Erwin.
- Designed, Implemented and documented ETL Processes using Informatica Best Practices and Standards based on Informatica Velocity Guidelines.
- Developed Mappings using various transformations like connected/unconnected Lookups, Filter, Router, Normalizer, Aggregator, Expression, Stored procedure, Sequence Generator, Update strategy, Joiner etc.
Technical team.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
Required
- Advance knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g/11g
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft SQL server
- Advanced knowledge of Informatica
- Advanced knowledge of OBIEE
- Knowledge of BI Apps
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other technical discipline, OR Associate degree and 3 additional years of relevant IT professional experience;
- Knowledge of Business Objects, IDMS, Oracle Data Integrator, ERWIN, Windows, Linux
- 5 years of progressive experience in application data warehouse
