Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer with expertise in NFC (Near Field Communication) and FIDO2 protocols to join our innovative team. This role involves developing a cutting-edge iPhone application focused on enhancing security and accessibility through FIDO2 compliant access cards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, a deep understanding of NFC technology, and experience with the FIDO2 authentication protocol.   

Responsibilities:

• App Development: Design and develop an iOS app that utilizes NFC technology to read information from FIDO2 compliant access cards.  
• NFC Integration: Implement and test NFC tag reading capabilities within the app, ensuring compatibility with a range of devices and FIDO2 cards.  
• Security Implementation: Integrate FIDO2 authentication protocols to securely manage and authenticate access card data.  
• UI/UX Design: Work closely with the design team to ensure the app provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface.  
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues prior to release. Ensure the app meets all security and performance standards.  
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation for the app's codebase and NFC/FIDO2 integration processes.  
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest developments in iOS development, NFC technology, and FIDO2 standards to continuously improve the app. 

Education, Degrees, and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.   

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio showcasing NFC and/or security-focused applications. 
• Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.  
• Experience with NFC technology, specifically in implementing NFC tag reading in iOS apps.  
• Knowledge of FIDO2 protocols and authentication mechanisms.  
• Strong understanding of security best practices in mobile app development.  
• Familiarity with iOS UI/UX standards and best practices.
