Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in SAP’s newest and future solutions
The SAP Master Data Governance Manager will design, code, unit test, debug, and implement SAP applications. The senior developer/manager is required to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to customers. The SAP Master Data Governance Manager should have strong application development and systems integration experience. This person will adhere to development standards and methodologies. This person will be capable of performing code reviews with peers and be able to recognize good programming techniques and correct coding problems. This position will lead a SAP Development team for aerospace and defense client project.
- Hands-on Manager role - SAP MDG Subject Manager Expert
- Partner with functional teams to review functional specifications and produce technical design specifications
- Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements
- Design, code, unit test, debug and implement SAP applications while working closely with functional teams
- Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches
- Proactively provide work status
- Follow development standards and methodology
- Ensure that documentation is properly maintained
- Support the change control process
- Conduct code reviews with peers
- Support application upgrades
- Work Defects
- Develop test plans for new or modified programs
- Test, debug, implement, and document fixes
- Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Provide advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support.
- This position will involve access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and will require individuals to be U.S. persons. i.e. US citizen or Green Card.
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

Applications include SAP S/4HANA and Cloud (Hybris, Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors, and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud) across the following capabilities:

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) functional and/or technical experience
- 8 years experience in ABAP/UI5/HTML with BTP and Fiori.
- 8 years S/4 HANA/BTP development.
- 6 years in aerospace and defense industry
- 6 years in consulting
- Designed and realization phases for at least 2 SAP MDG implementations
- Experience in defining the MDG business process, workflows, integration to SAP S/4 HANA, and writing the customizations functional specifications for development objects in SAP Master Data Governance.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience using the scaled Agile framework (SAFe) methodology
- Familiarity with SAP Data and functional processes; ability to understand functional specifications written by the process teams and or be able to write the functional specifications based on business requirements.
- Occasional travel up to 10% annually.
- This position will involve access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and, due to urgent timelines with immediate placement needs, will require individuals to be U.S. persons. (U.S. persons is defined as U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) and certain classes of protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) including Asylees and Refugees).
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
- SAP MDG Certification
- Public Cloud S/4 Experience
- SAP S/4 HANA Certification
- Analytical/decision making responsibilities
- Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
