US Cyber Data Protection team is responsible for securing and protecting confidential data of Deloitte US Member Firm, our clients, and our Employees. Team’s core mission is to implement cyber security controls to protect Deloitte US Firm’s data and data entrusted to us by our clients to build their trust and protect our brand. We are seeking a Cybersecurity Data Protection Manager to join the US Cybersecurity Data Protection team within Deloitte Technology-US Organization.
The Cybersecurity Data Protection Manager is responsible for leading a diverse team of Cyber Security Engineers and Analysts in developing, implementing, and providing data to day support for data protection solutions and capabilities. You and your team will design, deploy, and manage technology and process solutions to reduce the potential of data compromise. You will be responsible to lead, manage, mature, and provide support for several cyber data protection services including, but not limited to, data loss prevention, data minimization and destruction, sensitive data discovery scanning, web application firewall, cloud data protection leveraging CASB, web security, privileged access management etc. You will require cyber security and data security industry knowledge, leadership, and collaboration skills to work with Senior Cyber Leadership, Business Information Security Officers, IT Infrastructure Teams, Confidential and Privacy Leaders, Program Management Office, Call Center/TSS Support Leadership, IT Communications Leadership, Global Shared Services etc. in a cross functional environment. You will require an understanding, knowledge and experience in cyber data protection services including well-rounded understanding of the information security domains and their inter-relations across that ecosystem.
The position reports to Senior Manager 1 within Cyber Data Protection Team.
As part of the US Data Protection team, you will have the following core responsibilities:
- Lead the technical configuration, implementation, administration, management and support of multiple cyber security products and solutions.
- Perform technology evaluations and proof of concepts for service improvements, new cyber security solutions, and emerging technologies.
- Investigate, design & architect cyber data protection controls as requirements are identified.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Deloitte’s business processes, core systems, technologies, data, client engagement teams and customers.
- Closely collaborate with Global Cybersecurity Service Owners to effectively adopt and provide on-going support of Cyber Security solutions to 171,000 US Member Firm Professionals
- Function as a subject matter expert in multiple service areas of Cyber Data Security and Operations – Data Loss Prevention, Data Minimization, Data Discovery, Cloud Data Protection, Web Security, Web Application Firewall, Privileged Access Management, Data Classification and Rights Management, Key and Certificate Management, Data Encryption, Data Access Governance, PKI etc.
- Provide technical expertise in developing, deploying, and supporting Data Protection solutions across multiple business functions and departments within Deloitte.
- Lead team members in providing technical engineering support to end users in troubleshooting issues related to Cyber Data Security and Operations services supported by the team.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
- Minimum 6 years of cyber security experience within a complex business environment in configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting cybersecurity solutions.
- Minimum 1 year experience leading work of cyber security analysts and engineers in developing, implementing, and providing support for cyber security solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one professional cyber security certification designation preferred such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, CEH, SANS GIAC, CRISC, CompTIA Security etc.
- Experience leading and delivering cyber security projects in large enterprise setting
- Experience in troubleshooting technical issues with cybersecurity solutions
- Familiarity with change management and deployment processes in large IT organizations
- Working knowledge with common IT technologies such as Windows Server, Linux/Unix Servers, Databases, Active Directory/LDAP, Virtualization, Endpoints (Laptops/Desktops) etc.
- General knowledge of IT / security principles such as encryption, identity, cloud, etc.
- Ability to manage and lead a team, develop cyber security professionals, communicate with executives, coach, and mentor team members, conduct performance management, perform company-wide coordination, collaboration, and communication of security initiatives, develop budget, manage relationship with internal stakeholders, communicate with vendors etc.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interact effectively with professionals at all levels and communicate recommendations with diplomacy and tact.
- Knowledge and experience in multiple cyber security domains.
Knowledge and/or proven record of successfully managing technology implementation projects and providing on-going support for at least two (2) of the following Cyber Security capabilities:
- Data Loss Prevention (Symantec DLP, McAfee DLP, Forcepoint DLP, Cososys DLP etc.)
- Web Application Firewall (Imperva WAF, Radware WAF, Akamai WAF, Cloudware WAF)
- Privileged Access Management (Beyondtrust, Cyberark, Delinea etc.)
- Cloud Access Security Broker (McAfee Skyhigh, Netskope CASB, Zscaler etc.)
- Web Security (Netskope SWG, ZScaler, Forcepoint Proxy, Broadcom WSS etc.)
- Data Retention and Destruction (Symantec Network Discovery, Office365 Security Compliance Center, Avepoint, Varonis etc.)
- Next Generation Antivirus and Endpoint Detection and Remediation Technology (Crowdstrike Falcon, Cylance ATP, Microsoft Defender etc.)
- Data Classification and Rights Management (Microsoft AIP, Boldon James, Titus etc.)
