Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Senior Analyst in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy, and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications, and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
- Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing Gap Analysis;
- Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS);
- Conducting unit testing of web services and web applications using Manual and Automation testing;
- Developing domain classes and database access methods through use of Java Classes and Entity Framework;
- Creating web applications by leveraging JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML5, as well as using client and server side programming to provide service and data to users;
- Designing and developing applications using Atlassian Jira to meet functional needs for software applications;
- Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development by employing User Interface Management System (UIMS); and
- Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing Defect Management Process (DMP).
