Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premises to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, including Python, SQL, SnowSQL, .NET Framework, code deployments including Azure Continous Integration and Continous Deployment (CI-CD), enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Jira and Confluence;
• Converting legacy data according to current system’s data structure using data warehouse concepts, utilizing HBase file system, Hive, Oracle, Db2, Teradata, Snowflake, Bitbucket, and Git;
• Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, Control-M jobs, Apache Spark, Reflections, Kafka, and MapReduce techniques to design and develop data conversion strategies, and facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;
• Recommending, designing, and implemented solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Container Registry, Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Storage, Identity Access Management (IAM), BigQuery, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging;
• Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Google and Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud and designing Terraform scripts using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Managed Cloud, and Software as a Service (SaaS);
• Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions using GCP, AWS Cloud, and Agile Methodology; and
• Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization and automation using metadata driven custom frameworks designed in GCP, including Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Apache Airflow, and AWS Cloud including Lambda, Step functions, and Glue.
