Work you'll do
- Utilize API Management programs to enable federal, state, local and/or higher education clients to protect against digital application risks.
- Lead clients in designing, deploying and managing repeatable strategic solutions for the management of technological and organizational controls supporting API management.
- Multitask and switch gears to meet changing priorities and tasks to accomplish goals/objectives.
- Advise clients in global trends relating to API requirements and work collaboratively with them to enhance capabilities
- Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients API applications.
- Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
- Evaluate and support complex IAM and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.
- Work includes project management, practice operations/development, sales, innovation, eminence-building and people development
- Communicate the API aspects of both the production support and maintenance at the technical and functional level to maintain or resolve a technical situation.
- Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services.

The US Delivery Center supports a collaborative team culture where we work and live close to home with limited travel.
Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Business, Math or in other business-related fields.
- 1 years of experience with API Gateway Management (DataPower, Web Methods, MuleSoft or Apigee.)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States with no sponsorship.
- Ability to work remote with travel up to 15% annually
- Ability to obtain & maintain the required security clearance
Preferred:
- Strong expertise in Java, Microservices etc.
- Strong expertise on REST, Web Services, JSON, SOAP or XML
- Good to have knowledge on React JS, Spring boot, etc.
- Should have knowledge on IAM tools such as ISAM, SailPoint for securing API's
- Good to have knowledge on Middleware, ESB, SOA, and WAS tools
- Experience in OAuth2 implementations for SSO implementations
- Hands-on technical design & development experience in implementing APIs and policies
- Working experience on SOAP, REST, JSON, and XML style services as APIs
- Must be team-oriented and able to collaborate across many participating teams
- Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
- Additional Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security , CEH, CISSP
