This position is working on a multi-year project for a major healthcare client. This is a remote role.
Work you'll do/Responsibilities
You will determine process and tools to reduce IT spend on multiple projects under the EDA portfolio for a large healthcare client.
You will be designing, coding, testing, and maintaining .NET applications using C# and related technologies. Integrating .NET applications into cloud-based infrastructure and functionality especially AWS.
This job will include implementing and designing DML and DDL on SQL based databases like SQL Server, Snowflake. Implementing security measures and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions. Contributing to code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging issues in applications and infrastructure, and implementing effective resolutions. Optimizing application performance and scalability by leveraging Object Oriented language best practices.
You will be expected to participate in Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to ensure timely project delivery. Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and application configurations. Manage DevOPs structures, end to end deployments, handle migrations including backend and Docker orchestration.

Qualifications
Required
- 5 years' experience in .NET Core using ASP.NET framework, Object Oriented design principles, maintaining .NET applications using C#
- 5 years' experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3 etc., and their integration with .NET applications
- 5 years' experience of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and JavaScript for application integration
- 5 years hands-on experience with Docker and containerization and best practices in orchestration
- 4 years experience in healthcare domain
- 4 years experience in consulting
- Familiarity with SQL and database technologies, preferably experience with AWS RDS or DynamoDB, SQL Server, Snowflake
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including unit testing, code documentation, and continuous integration. Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git, Bitbucket for source code management.

- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
