Position Summary
Senior Manager, Independence Consultation - Business Relationships, Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN)

As part of ICN Business Relationships team, you will be an enabler of Deloitte's growth by reviewing proposed business relationships such as alliances, teaming arrangements, and sponsorships for independence threats that Deloitte faces in the marketplace.
Work you'll do
- Manage a domestic and international team of professionals who process business relationships and consultations by answering questions and providing guidance and training
- Perform critically secondary review business relationship submissions in the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Gateway
- Provide consultative assistance to Lead Client Service Partners, Professional Practice Directors, Regional Compliance Officers, DTT Independence Directors and other function Partners, Principals, and Managing Directors on business relationship independence issues
- Identify, manage, and institute potential enhancements to the existing business relationship clearance process and tools, including the TPRM Gateway
- Work with technology development on these enhancements and performing user acceptance testing
- Take a lead management role in completing independence processes and assigned projects
- Lead the monitoring of data quality in the system
- Create and present training sessions on business relationships across all Deloitte functions
- Develop, train, and assign projects to managers and below, while motivating and providing career coaching and guidance
- Assist the PPMD in the development of team strategic objectives/goals and processing standards

Business Relationships Team - a critical component of ICN
Business relationships are essential to the growth strategy of Deloitte. The ICN Business Relationships team performs a critical consultative, quality-assurance, and risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms, helping the organizations remain unbiased and independent when entering into business relationships with third parties.
Qualifications of a Successful Candidate
Required:
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent
- 8 years of related work experience
- Strong technology skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills and outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to analyze facts and relationships
- Ability to perform process flow management
- Ability to learn, understand, and apply firm's independence policies and guidance related to business relationships
- A demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and prioritize amidst multiple projects
- Supervision, coaching, and team management
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in a related field (preferably business, finance, or accounting)
- Prior public accounting, consulting, or regulatory compliance experience
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $104575 to $171,790.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
