Work you’ll do
Lead/support implementation of cloud platform technologies in areas of software development, integration and test of software applications and infrastructure. The Cloud Project Manager will be primarily responsible for utilizing technical skills to coordinate enhancements and deployment efforts and to provide insight and recommendations for implementing client solutions. Project Managers will work closely with other cloud teams, engineers and other functions.
Responsibilities include:
Providing technical architecture and cyber security expertise to establish standards, roadmaps, and next-gen cloud solutions for customers
- Performing public cloud assessment and migration services
- Advising on and executing legacy application modernization
- Solutioning Management of Application Development and Maintenance services for new or existing customer application using custom development, COTS and/or SaaS/PaaS technology stacks and platforms
- Implementing and operating next generation, mission critical system for customers
- Providing staff augmentation services to customer agencies
- Providing overall technology strategy and thought leadership to the program
The Customer Technical Architect (CTA) serves in a customer-facing organization acting as an interface for all technology requests and has overall responsibility for demands/ideas and projects.
Develop and manage relationships with assigned customer agencies and enterprise data center teams
- Support the intake and completion of high-level architecture and ballpark effort/cost estimation requests for infrastructure and application development initiatives
- Deliver strategy management functions including technology planning, refresh and technical currency, application discovery, reference architectures, and standard products
- Guide consistency for how customer needs should drive technical considerations in the architecture design and develop solutions that maximize capabilities
- Perform complexity disposition for demands to architect cloud solutions and develop/maintain applications
- Work with customers to review demand requirements for completeness and adherence to best practices
- Support external program vendors and service providers in clarifying business/technical requirements and design decisions for public and private cloud-based solutions
- Lead application development solutioning efforts by coordinating Deloitte subject matter experts and advisors to translate customer requirements into project proposals inclusive of cost plans, business case, and pricing model development and management
- Perform QA review of technology solutions to validate alignment to reference architecture and standards
- Support ongoing discussions and understanding of the business and technical needs of customers
- Advise customers on program services and build technology plans from enterprise documents and roadmaps
- Build a deep knowledge of shared services demand pipeline as well as working knowledge of budget cycle and appropriations process

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you support.
Preferred:
5 years experience working with Cloud Infrastructure technologies
5 years experience working within a Customer centric environment
5 years experience working as a Technical Project or Program Manager
