Work you'll do/Responsibilities
This project is to provide services to our client to support their medical benefits management applications, their VMWare infrastructure, VDI components and support their user base.
Mac System Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Mac systems using tools such as Jamf Pro, Apple Remote Desktop, and other MDM solutions.
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Mac devices.
- Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to Mac operating systems and applications.
Technical Support:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for Mac-related issues, including hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
- Assist end-users with Mac-related problems and provide technical guidance and training.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Mac systems.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure Mac systems comply with organizational security policies and industry standards.
- Implement security best practices, including encryption, endpoint protection, and regular security audits.
- Manage user access and permissions in accordance with company policies.
Integration and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Mac systems with the broader IT infrastructure, including network, storage, and server environments.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline Mac management tasks.
- Assist in the deployment and management of enterprise applications on Mac systems.
Backup and Disaster Recovery:
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for Mac systems.
- Test and validate backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of Mac configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Generate regular reports on the performance, security, and health of Mac systems.
- Document and track support requests and resolutions using the organization's ticketing system.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest Mac technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of Mac systems.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

Qualifications
Required
- 3-5 years of experience in Mac administration and support.
- Hands-on experience with Mac management tools such as Jamf Pro, Apple Remote Desktop, and MDM solutions..
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
