Work you'll do

• Implement cloud security architecture using zero-trust principles with automated/rapid deployment to cloud (AWS, Azure) to include integrating and operating existing cloud security tools (Splunk, ServiceNow, zScaler, Crowdstrike, etc.) with the CDC system/architecture
• Assess cloud systems and infrastructure to identify potential weaknesses or problems and upgrade software, VMs, containers to ensure optimal performance of cloud environment and security tools, build-in security compliance and vulnerability remediations in code/configurations, and automate security
• Lead remediation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts cloud services including collaborating with stakeholders to improving performance
• Provide application migration support including supporting the DevSecOps team
• Support Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) processes

Qualifications

Required:

• 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud security using cloud-native and 3rd party solutions to include security of applications, platforms, and environments
• 5 years of experience identifying, tracking, remediating, and reporting on vulnerability and weaknesses in cloud deployments
• 5 years of experience developing automations and using cloud-native and 3rd party monitoring tools to optimize performance and security of cloud environments
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting security issues in cloud deployments
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with Federal zero trust requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,000-$148,000.
