Work you'll do
Seeking a technical writer and copy editor with 3 or more years experience and ability to obtain a US Government clearance. Candidate will work with Deloitte and client leaders drafting and copy editing strategic communications and briefing materials for Sr. level clients and stakeholders including critical infrastructure owners and operators and state, local, federal, tribal officials.

We help our clients define future state visions, develop strategic roadmaps, establish governance infrastructure, operationalize processes, measure and monitor performance, innovate through technology, and deliver quality program outcomes in an expedited, cost effective and compliant manner. Together we create more resilient communities and responsive ecosystems through incident action planning, grant risk assessments, improving grant processes and operations, future and contingency planning, and data analytics.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Geography, Geospatial Intelligence or related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
- 3 years of experience with:
- Technical writing
- Copy editing
- Proof reading
- Technical documentation
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment; provide rigorous, creative insight in complex situations; and exhibit advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage technology to solve problems
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
- Proficiency in word processing, s preadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
