What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Tech Cardiac Cath Lab Full Time Days position at Delray Medical Center?
Cardiovascular Tech performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.’s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist and Vascular Surgeon with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications.
EducationRequired: Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI)
ExperienceOne year Interventional Lab experience required;One year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, preferred
CertificationsRequired:
- Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)
- Florida License CRT
- RCIS within 12 months of hire required
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Field of expertise: Cardiac Catheterization, American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certification, Interventional Cardiac Catheterization and or EP experience is preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment
