Fire Alarm Inspector
Location: Spring Lake, North Carolina
Pay rate: $20/hr to $25/hr (Negotiable for more experience)

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet all local, state, and national codes and standards.
- Test and inspect components such as control panels, detectors, and notification devices to verify operational status.
- Identify and document any deficiencies, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations for system improvements.
- Collaborate with facility managers and other stakeholders to ensure all fire alarm systems are compliant and up to date.
- Provide guidance and training to facility staff on fire alarm system operations and emergency procedures.
About You:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in fire alarm inspection, maintenance, and repair.
- NICET II certification in Fire Alarm Systems is required.
- In-depth knowledge of fire alarm system components, codes, and standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to fire alarm systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise inspection reports.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules.
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
