What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, Reliability Programs position at Delta Air Lines, Inc.?
Reliability Programs Specialist represent corporate interest by maintaining the highest standards of safety, airworthiness and reliability of Delta Aircraft and administer Delta's Reliability Program Document D074 (TOPP 20-40-05). Reliability Programs Specialists ensures the log pages, maintenance delays & cancellations and aircraft out of service events have the correct ATA code applied for accurate Delta fleet/component performance measurements. Log page and non-routine data is reviewed daily to identify and report any failures, malfunctions or defects that meet the requirements of 14CFR 121.703. The specialist is also responsible for identifying and report Service Difficulty reportable items and Operational Difficulty reportable items using Delta's ODI process and the FAA SDR process. Specialists will collect statistical data required for periodic fleet performance reports, discovery of trends, time extensions and revisions for Maintenance Programs, and Adhoc data analysis projects to support Engineering processes. Specialists may be part of the Operational Reliability Teams (ORT) that supports the Reliability Control Board (RCB) by working issues or concerns at the highest technical levels with experts on the subject matter.
