Purpose:
Inventory Slotter is responsible for maintaining and coordination all slotting processes in a cost-efficient manner. They will run reports and direct product movement to ensure the best possible pick efficiency and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze management reports to prioritize scheduling of task to meet delivery requirements.
Determine warehouse placement of all new incoming merchandise and ensure that merchandise is slotted before scheduled roll out dates.
Directs movement of existing product, as needed, to make room for new products in an effort to efficiently utilize warehouse space e and SKU volume analysis.
Check Slots of discontinued items. Direct movement of product out of active pick locations.
Update WMS in an effort to ensure that the system correctly identifies product locations at all times. Maintain WMS date integrity.
Consistently maintain all location labels.
Plan and lead special projects as assigned by management.
Update and communicate all issues to management.
Support all Salt Life operations departments to ensure Company goals are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve inventory issues that interfere with order fulfillment.
Ensure assignments are completed in a safe and timely manner.
Job Requirements:
Cherry Picker Experience Preferred
Knowledge of Blue Cherry Preferred
Detail oriented, accurate and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to analyze data to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
While performing day to day tasks, the associate is regularly required to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time and regularly lift no more than 50 lbs.
Work overtime as required.
