Dispatch Coordinator 2 Summary

Essential Functions

1. Driver Support

a. Checking loads as needed

b. Assist in the building of packs to confirm accuracy

c. Assist loader in loading trucks, capable of loading trucks as back up

d. Hanger inventory and pulling

e. Attach hangers to loads

f. Mitek knowledge

g. Samsara knowledge

h. Assist Dispatch Supervisor as needed

i. EWP back up when needed

j. Driver as needed (CDL preferred)

k. Other duties and responsibilities as outlined in the EOS chart

2. Back up support to Dispatch Supervisor:

a. Confirm delivery addresses with onsite contact via Google Maps, Bing Maps, etc.

b. Confirm and dispatch delivery site on Samsara

c. Make sure weather conditions are suitable for delivery, including road travel into jobsite itself

d. Maintain communication with drivers on the road until they return to the yard

e. Gather hangers for jobs

f. Perform material inspections once loaded on the trailer for delivery

g. Knowledge on oversize movement rules and regulations

h. Must be up to date with DOT Regulations and Compliance

i. Obtain single trip permits for oversize loads in certain states / counties as needed

j. Coordinate pilot escorts for deliveries

Pay may differ with CDL license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
