Main Responsibilities
- Drive haul truck in quarry, yard and other areas as needed
- Ensure haul truck is properly maintained (oil level, transmission oil, water, hydraulic oil, etc.)
- Grease haul truck daily
- Inspect haul truck daily for safety and mechanical problems and fill out pre-shift and post shift inspection sheet
- Assist with maintenance on plants and heavy equipment as needed
- Operate water truck on roads as needed
- Perform light maintenance, to include shoveling, on plants as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Demonstrable ability to perform manual labor in weather extremes (shoveling, lifting, moving materials)
- Experience driving large trucks or farm trucks
- Heavy equipment operator skills a plus
- Excellent communication and team oriented skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended hours
- Ability to work in a dusty work environment

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Employees must have 20 / 40 vision, either naturally or with corrective lenses. Hearing should be excellent or corrected by audio device.
