Job Summary: To ensure the stable operation of the computer environment; supports end-users by resolving all technical problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as an initial point of contact for all incoming technical requests, inquiries, problems, or incidents to the helpdesk ticketing system to include hands-on and remote troubleshooting.
- Support the company’s physical computing environment to include configuring, installing, and troubleshooting all physical PC hardware platforms, firmware, operating systems and applications.
- Support the company’s virtual computing environment by supporting end-users in a VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and physical client devices.
- Assist with system resource monitoring, as well as 24x7 technical support through participation in an on-call rotation.
- Participate in asset management by maintaining an accurate and detailed hardware and software inventory.
- Assist with managing Active Directory services by creating, updating, and removing users, computers, and groups to and from the domain.
- Support the company’s mobile phone users by managing the mobile account, lines, and devices.
- Proactively assess and recommend technical areas of improvement and new technical opportunities/solutions in the marketplace.
- Assist with the development and implementation of technical policies, procedures and other documentation.
