JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Looking for strong finance and accounting qualified candidates aspiring to make a successful career in Oracle ERP Cloud. The job also requires supporting other ancillary finance applications as needed.
  • While we prefer candidates who have learning or certifications in Oracle ERP SaaS, the job requires limited to no experience in Oracle ERP SaaS or any ERP. The candidate will be provided training on the job including Oracle ERP SaaS, enterprise practices, and will be well supported by the team to be successful.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As an Application Analyst, you will be working primarily on financial modules like General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Procurement, Assets, and Cash Management in Oracle ERP SaaS. You will also be working on any other financial applications supporting the enterprise.
  • This is a hands-on role that includes engagement with finance business users. As an application analyst, you will be required to work closely with the business partners during requirements gathering, functional and technical designs, development/configuration, and testing.
  • Responsible for documentation as required during the implementation of various projects.
  • Responsible for following the implementation methodologies and duly adhering to the controls and practices of the enterprise.
  • Responsible for performing various types of work including implementation, upgrades, testing, support and maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA is preferred. Strong academic background is preferred.
  • Learnings and Product Certifications on Oracle ERP SaaS or any ERP in any of the modules like Oracle General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets etc. will be preferred.
  • 2 years of accounting and audit experience in finance industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in the finance or technology space.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, finance. Knowledge on audit practices, taxation and US GAAP is highly preferable.
  • Strong soft skills including but not limited to excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask. Possess self-awareness and the ability to utilize constructive feedback to improve performance.
  • Self-motivated to work independently and learn new applications and business processes.
  • Self-starter, proactive, go getter personality that does not accept the status quo and strives for continuous improvement.
  • Has hands on experience and should be an expert in MS Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other basic tools required to perform the duties. Should be strong in presentation skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $59,00 - $130,900
