WHO WE NEED
We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Design Manager in the Architectural Group at our Chevy Chase, MD office to work with one of our largest government clients to assist in the administration of a large, multiyear design-build contract. The candidate should have a Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Requirements for this position include:
- Registered Architect License.
- Construction Manager or Project Manager experience with general construction or construction management, including all phases of construction and construction administration.
- Experience as a Lead Project Architect.
- Previous experience with administration of design-build projects in excess of $20 million, plus experience with multiphase renovation projects in occupied facilities, with a total area of not less than 50,000 g.s.f.
- Experience with healthcare and/or research facilities and projects for the Federal Government.
- Experience with managing multiple prime contracts.
- Proficient with construction management software, Excel and Word
- Good communication skills.
