Delta Engineers, Architects, & Surveyors (Delta) is a growing, multidisciplinary AEC firm founded in 1976 and based in the Southern Tier of New York State with additional offices in Central New York and Chevy Chase, MD. We deliver architectural and engineering design for facilities and infrastructure as well as environmental engineering, survey, landscape architecture, and ecological services to public and private clients. WHO WE NEED

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Design Manager in the Architectural Group at our Chevy Chase, MD office to work with one of our largest government clients to assist in the administration of a large, multiyear design-build contract. The candidate should have a Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Requirements for this position include:

  • Registered Architect License.
  • Construction Manager or Project Manager experience with general construction or construction management, including all phases of construction and construction administration.
  • Experience as a Lead Project Architect.
  • Previous experience with administration of design-build projects in excess of $20 million, plus experience with multiphase renovation projects in occupied facilities, with a total area of not less than 50,000 g.s.f.
  • Experience with healthcare and/or research facilities and projects for the Federal Government.
  • Experience with managing multiple prime contracts.
  • Proficient with construction management software, Excel and Word
  • Good communication skills.
