What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority?
This open housekeeper position is for a sorority house at University of Rhode Island. We are looking for both a part-time housekeeper AND a full-time housekeeper.
Responsibilities
- Clean public areas including lounges, stairwells, lobbies, hallways, recreation rooms, laundry rooms, and multi-purpose rooms
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
- Perform carpet care and cleaning
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
- Wipe mirrors and windows
- Dust surfaces, remove trash and recyclables
Skills desired but not required
- Proven experience as housekeeper, custodian, janitor or in a similar role
- Knowledge of use and housekeeping and industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Must have good attendance record.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
