Responsibilities:
Work with Associate Directors and program coordinators to ensure high quality data is collected from partners and internal staff in a timely manner; Synthesize program data and perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis for monthly program reports and as needed; Act as data liaison between DSU and MS Delta Gear Up partners to establish reasonable reporting deadlines, and ensuring that high quality data is collected and entered within deadlines; Utilize computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programs to enter, store and/or retrieve information as requested or otherwise necessary and summarize data in preparation of standardized reports; Send announcements to appropriate participants as it relates to scheduled workshops/activities, including reminders, time/location changes, and attendance confirmations; Assist with coordination of workshops/activities, including identification of in-kind meeting spaces; Monitor, supervise and create content for social media outlets for Gear Up daily; Develop distribution materials such as newsletters, brochures etc. Receptionist and secretarial duties; Travel throughout service area, when needed, to assist with meetings, services, setup, etc.; Other duties as assigned by the Executive Direct.
Qualifications:
Verbal and written communication skills; Interpersonal skills; organizational and typing skills; Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Ability to learn and retain new tasks quickly and expand that knowledge frequently; and Comfort with technology along with the ability to learn new software quickly. Masters Degree preferred in a field relative to job and 1 year or Bachelors degree in field and 3 years experience working with grant programs/projects or High school diploma/GED and 7 years experience working with grant programs/projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Interpersonal skills; organizational and typing skills; Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Ability to learn and retain new tasks quickly and expand that knowledge frequently; Comfort with technology along with the ability to learn new software quickly; High school diploma/GED and 7 years experience working with grant programs/projects. Salary:
12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and universitys resources.
