Our clients are currently seeking a Paraprofessionals in the Naugatuck, CT and surrounding area that will provide aide and support to children in various settings.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF TEACHER AIDE OPPORTUNITY
- Provide support and assistance by helping children with challenges outlined in their IEP assessment : ages 3-21 years old.
- Work one on one with students to ensure a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment.
- Provide children with goal-oriented support that fosters independence and the ability to display socially acceptable behaviors in the school environment.
- Monitor child's change in moods and / or behaviors.
- Ensure that diversity and commonality are valued.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Experience proving support to children with autism, behavioral challenges, or intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalency, Associate Degere, 60 credits or ParaPro a plus
- Ability to complete and pass clearances : FBI, Child Abuse , and Criminal
