Deliver production materials to the designated manufacturing floor location as well as prepare outbound freight for transport per corporate best practices. Assist with wrapping full meter skids and move the appropriate trailer for shipment. Maintain inventory accuracy through careful material transactions in SAP and inventory movement.
Accountabilities:
• Using power equipment such as fork trucks, order pickers and reach trucks replenish floor stock based on previous shifts SAP usage.
• Provide on-demand material for non-SAP replenishment items.
•Maintain real-time roll stock inventory levels based on visual control systems.
•Ensure excess production materials are processed and returned to the appropriate warehouse inventory locations via SAP.
•Perform inventory zone consolidations in SAP on a routine basis.
•Assist with cycle counts, warehouse layout changes and in-bound and out-bound freight processing as required.
• Position may include other duties as determined by the company.
Basic Qualifications :
• High School (or equivalent)
• 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Technologically savvy with at least intermediate computer skills and MS Suite knowledge.
Candidate must be able to obtain a Deluxe Power Equipment License as well as become proficient with SAP in order to perform this function.
