As a member of the Business Process Operations team, the Manager, Business Analyst role is responsible for ensuring that assigned operational, enterprise, and/or digital transformation initiatives successfully integrate, automate, and optimize the DemandScience portfolio and companies.
What You'll Do
- Manage a global team of high-achieving Business Analysts who drive the analysis, solution design, and delivery across enterprise systems
- Own primary responsibility for the definition and delivery of large-scale projects that require multi-track teams.
- Design and deliver innovative solutions for cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on detailed scoping, communication, and collaboration.
- Supervise the translation of Product Roadmap and business needs into actionable user stories, and manage their scheduling and implementation.
- Collaborate with internal business clients, technical development leads, UX design leads, product owners, and other analysts to flush out solution designs.
- Ensure work efficiency through close collaboration with the development team in providing solutions to arising business challenges and needs.
- Act as the liaison and solution broker between business stakeholders, process SMEs, technical leadership, and the scrum teams.
- Facilitate meetings, including requirements gathering, UAT sessions, cross-functional coordination, and product demos.
- Manage product backlogs to align with the strategic company vision and prioritize delivery of high-value features and solutions.
- Produce and deliver regular status reports and updates on product releases and individual projects.
- Identify, analyze, and document workflows, business processes, and user requirements.
- Identify, develop, and train such best practices as BA analysis techniques, Hybrid agile methodologies, process transformation methodologies, and similar.
- Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to establish relationships and best practice procedures for extracting domain requirements, business/operating designs, process maps, epics, etc.
- Drive continual improvement in team effectiveness through evolving processes and mentoring team members.
- Teach and coach agile/hybrid skills for continual team improvement.
What You'll Need
- 10 years of experience in business systems analysis
- Demonstrated experience with business needs assessment, requirements elicitation, business requirements analysis and documentation, wireframing, solutions assessment, and validation
- Experience modeling data and event flows for such systems as CRM, Marketing Automation, Data Delivery and/or Sales Engagement.
- Experience defining/designing cloud-based applications, involving such components as identity management, high-performing Company/Contact data access, campaign results repositories, and data intelligence.
- Strong understanding of the order-to-cash business life cycle and experience analyzing and transforming business processes
- Experience managing in an agile environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and leadership at all levels
- Agile software development lifecycle experience
- Systems and process thinking, with a proven track record of quality
- Strategic problem-solving capabilities with an analytical approach
- Strong knowledge of B2B data and marketing systems and processes
