Dematic is seeking a Global Logistics Analyst to join its Procurement team. The position will report to the Transportation Category Lead for North America. This position will be responsible for reviewing, allocating, and presenting freight invoices to Account Payable submitted by carriers in multiple formats. The position will also support the Transportation Team with global data collection and KPI reporting as well as insuring supplier compliance to published guidelines. This critical role will collaborate with internal Dematic functional areas (AP, Finance, Transportation, Procurement, Project Management) as well as external suppliers and 3PL’s. service providers. What we offer: This is What You Will do in This Role: Timely freight invoice management to include: Facilitation of thorough invoice audit by freight payment and audit service Accurate internal allocation of charges Process evaluation and efficiency improvement Supplier compliance to routing guide instructions Carrier loss/damage claim issuance and collection Supplier non-compliance claim issuance and collection Development of Transportation KPI’s Insure timely and complete: Receipt of all transportation related invoices from Dematic’s third party logistics providers presented in various formats Allocation of charges accurately to project and/or cost centers Collaborate with Dematic's third party freight bill, audit, and payment provider to ensure invoice accuracy prior to payment Providing FPA carrier agreements/rate amendments Creating/maintaining carrier lane rate matrices (“rate cards”) Establish and cultivate relationships with Dematic material resale suppliers to: Ensure compliant carrier/mode utilization and consistent documentation preparation – correct P.O./reference information Confront/correct non-compliant behavior(s) Maintain and ensure thorough circulation of Dematic’s routing guide – updating to reflect carrier/routing changes as directed by the Category Lead Develop, maintain, and publish meaningful Transportation KPI’s through data collection Document processes Support third party freight pay and audit provider to investigate non-compliant transportation invoices to determine accurate allocation Support data integration and automation where possible Resolve carrier invoicing concerns as identified and pursue corrective actions Collaborate with Dematic Procurement (material Category Leads) to insure consistent application of desired P.O. incoterms Miscellaneous invoice review, validation, and approval Assist the Transportation Team to run SAP reports as requested by the business Tasks and Qualifications: What We are Looking For: Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 5 years transportation/logistics/supply chain experience Knowledge and strong utilization of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Microsoft Teams and SAP background Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and upper management Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions and minimal supervision Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize with strong time-management skills – reliability Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Must consistently demonstrate a commitment to excellence, integrity, and ability to collaborate across virtually every functional area Effective communication in English (verbal and written) Must demonstrate highest level of responsiveness to internal and external partners
