DSCC Voter Protection Project Manager

The DSCC is hiring a Voter Protection Project Manager for the 2022 election cycle to assist with the DSCC’s Voter Protection Program.

The DSCC Voter Protection Project Manager will report to the DSCC Voter Protection Advisors and coordinate with the political, coordinated, operations, and data departments to execute the Voter Protection Department’s mission.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Manage the DSCC Voter Protection Department’s day to day and long term projects and programs, including providing programmatic support to the Department, monitor and track project and program development, and provide communications and logistical support with the DSCC
  • Manage information, deliverables, and goal tracking from Voter Protection Teams in Senate Battleground States and provide communications and logistical support between State Teams and the DSCC
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and resources to ensure the Voter Protection Department executes its mission
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience working for an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or firm
  • Strong interest in or experience in voting rights and/or voter protection
  • Strong time management, verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work well and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team and maintain constant communication with your teammates
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and an ability to demonstrate multicultural competence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while remaining detail-oriented and focused on meeting urgent deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Passionate about working for Senate Democrats to protect and grow our majority
