Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated, analytical individual to join our team in-person, full-time in Cedar Park, Texas. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial performance by job, evaluating costs, reviewing invoices, and various ad hoc projects. You will also assist in the tracking of operational results and preparing management reports to assist in the achievement of financial and operational goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a detailed review of invoices by job to evaluate the financial performance against plans and updates to resolve variances.
• Extract meaningful business insights and create data-driven recommendations to assist leadership in implementation and administration of business strategies, policies, and processes.
• Demonstrate overall understanding of basic Accounting functions, month end close, account reconciliations, balance sheet and profit and loss statements.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, gather data needs, improve data analysis techniques, and enhance reporting methodologies.
• Prepare financial models to support key business decisions by conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on financial outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and vendors.
• Communicate effectively across departments and with trades/vendors.
• Seek feedback and improve performance to ensure we are driving standards of excellence.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Education and Experience

Preferred

• 1-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,205.00 - $90,002.00 per year
