What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP Analyst position at Denbury?
Denbury is currently searching for an SAP Analyst to join their IT department in Plano, Texas, with a hybrid 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Job Responsibilities:
- Candidate must perform medium to high complexity ABAP programming, including Smart Forms, SAPscripts, Adobe Interactive Forms, EDI, IDOCs, and ABAP web services. Codes interfaces, enhancements, and reports to specification
- Experience in all SAP Enhancement techniques, including BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
- Experience integrating SAP with 3rd party applications using Web APIs
- Experience supporting SAP FI, SCM, EAM, and PS
- Experience integrating SAP HR and FI modules
- Analyzes processes and submits recommendations for solution
- Prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding logic flowcharts
- Provides development effort estimates
- Performs unit and integration testing along with creating associated documents
- Works with the IT support team in troubleshooting business support issues and debugging complex scenarios
- Documents changes, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and code reviews with IT staff.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum five years of experience as an ABAP developer supporting SAP ERP 6.0 or S/4HANA
- Experience in ABAP coding for SAP FI, SCM, EAM, and PS
- Experience with Web Dynpro and ABAP Objects
- Experience with SAP's enhancement framework for enhancing existing SAP applications
- Experience in SAP interfacing technologies ALE/IDocs, EDI, BAPIs, flat-file interfaces
- Proficiency in analyzing and debugging ABAP code
- Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies
- Ability to transfer knowledge effectively to developers through documentation or training
- Ability to effectively communicate with users and functional team members
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- SAP Certified ABAP Developer
- Oil and gas company experience with 3 SAP Implementations
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge and experience working with Core Data Services, Business Object Processing
Framework, Fiori, Gateway, and OData
- Knowledge and experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming model
- Knowledge and experience configuring and developing SAP Workflows
- Experience working with SAP PRA
- Experience working with SAP BW and BO
- Experience working with SAP BTP and Business Application Studio
