```Overview```

We are seeking one to two dedicated and compassionate Animal Technicians to join our team. As an Animal Technician, you will be responsible for providing care and support to rescued animals in our facility. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and have experience in pet care, veterinary assistance, or animal handling.

```Responsibilities```

- Provide daily care and feeding for animals in our facility following PACFA rules and regulations.

- Monitor the health and well-being of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor

- Clean and maintain animal enclosures, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment

- Assist with Adoption processing, customer service, greet and work with potential adopters

- Assist with administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian

- Handle animals with care and compassion, following proper restraint techniques

- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed

- Maintain accurate records of animal health, behavior, and any treatments provided

- Assist with laboratory procedures and sample collection as required

- Provide support during veterinary procedures or surgeries

```Experience```

- Previous experience in animal care, such as pet grooming, veterinary assistance, or working in a kennel, shelter or with rescue

- Knowledge of animal physiology and behavior

- Experience handling dogs and other small animals

- Customer Service Experience

- Strong communication skills

- Strong social media and marketing skills

- Ability to take quality photos and videos for marketing

- Familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus

- Equine experience is a plus

Pay: $14.35 - $15.00 per hour
