Title: Senior Substation Physical Engineer
Location: Knoxville, TN 37932
Duration: Full-Time
Description:
- Utilize AutoCAD to create assigned deliverables
- Meet customer's schedule and budget requirements
- Perform Physical design with a high degree of accuracy
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
- Perform careful self-checking activities to ensure the quality of work before it is presented to peers for independent reviews.
- Check/review other personnel's work for accuracy/adherence to client/national standards
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and occasionally oversee other designers and engineers to complete projects on time and on budget
- Perform project scoping activities
- Mentor junior engineers and designers
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Substation Engineering
- Engineering Design
Preferred Skills:
- CAD
- Autodesk
Experience:
- 10 or more years of relevant project experience with at least 7 years of experience functioning as a design engineer
Licenses & Certifications:
- Prof Engineering (PE)
