Wholesale Territory Manager

Position Summary

The Wholesale Territory Manager will be responsible for opening new accounts, growing business within existing accounts, and providing support to established customers. Concentration will be on rack and delivered sales of heating oil, diesel fuel, and gasoline to retail home heating oil dealers, service station operators, truck stops, and resellers.

This position is an inside and outside sales position, with some work days scheduled out of our Headquarters in Taunton, MA. Additional travel to customer locations and association meetings, as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Makes outbound calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail
• Builds and maintains customer relationships
• Coordinates with Pricing Analyst and billing department in response to customer deals and pricing questions
• Work with DKB Supply and Logistics Teams to meet customer requirements
• Identify Opportunities for additional DKB products and services (ie: DEF, Lubricants, Fleetcard, etc.)
• Provide customers with pricing on a daily basis, as well as adapt with market conditions throughout the day as needed
• Schedule Customer Site visits and attend association meetings as required
• Other duties and projects

Education and Skills Requirements:

• Minimum of two years sales experience (applicable industry knowledge a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent understanding of Microsoft office (word, excel, outlook), knowledge of customer relations software a plus (Hubspot, Act , Sales Force etc.)
• Able to work with all levels of the organization
• Willingness and ability to adjust to changing conditions or priorities

Physical Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record
• Able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
• Able to bend, stand, walk, sit, drive for long periods of time
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer including keyboard, mouse, cell phone, tablet and other office equipment
• Occasionally required to travel
