What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERVER position at Denny's?
We're currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions in our restaurant. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of serving food and drinks to customers, but experience isn't necessary. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn and positive personality are all qualities we seek in our team members.
Responsibilities:
- Speak to customers about their needs, fill orders, take payment and serve food.
- Patronize restaurants to gain customer insight.
- Familiarize yourself with the restaurant's menu and prepare recommendations for customers.
- Study trends to provide more timely and accurate customer service.
- Develop a marketing plan for the restaurant.
- Gain experience working in customer service-oriented environments.
