Job Summary:
** Position is located in Statesville, NC location **
Perform cost data analysis, create quotations, and lead profit improvement activities. Work closely with internal and external customers to improve profitability of each product type; support company to achieve short & long term target profit. Require both strong visual and oral presentation skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Support business development team with costing of new business opportunities
• Make product and tooling quotations by closely working with Sales, Engineering, Production Engineering, Production, Production Control and Purchasing teams
• Perform in-depth cost analysis and lead cross-functional cost improvement activities in order to achieve target profitability for each product type
• Work with Sales team to develop short- and long term sales plans; support internal customers to develop and execute kaizen action plans
• Work with Production Engineering team in developing investment plan by evaluating future business demand, production capacity and utilization
• Assist purchasing team in make-or-buy analysis
• Gather and compile data for management team to develop and execute long-term business plans when requested
• Require work with confidential data/information
• Must be able to work extended hours when required

• Ability to negotiate to resolve fundamental situations/issues while maintaining positive and fruitful relationships
• Ability to resolve problems, work in a group or independently, exercise good judgements in handling assigned responsibilities
• Ability to lead meetings efficiently and effectively
• Understand and complies with company policies and procedures
• Understand and participate in ISO/TS16949, ISO14001, Safety activities and QC Circle, etc.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
• Require a 4 year degree in Business or a related discipline; prefers 1-3 years' experience in business planning or procurement (preferably in a manufacturing environment).

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work in an open office environment and perform duties with minimal supervision
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage and logically organize large amounts of information and data
• Perform and expect others to conduct on-site verification
• Eagerness to learn and improve processes
