What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Talent Management Specialist position at DENSO?
This role is part of a new regional HR center of excellence! Under limited direction, this role will lead the design of leadership development programs in addition to coordinating a hi-potential leader program. Focus will be on creating talent pipeline solutions related to leadership and career development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads and designs the architecture/framework for North America HR regional leadership development programs and structure (Learning & Development).
- Leads the design and coordination of a North America regional hi-potential development program in alignment to executive talent management processes and pipeline.
- Leads and aligns efforts regionally related to L&D programs, including the design and implementation of DENSO University, an infrastructure to organize, curate and prioritize learning content in partnership with functional leaders.
- As part of a North America Center of Excellence (COE), may support other areas of HR talent management including executive talent management, career development and org. development.
- Partners with other Human Resources COEs, Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP's), and functional leaders/stakeholders to evaluate current talent development programs and make needed improvements.
- Maintains and monitors project plans, schedules and budgets using project management tools to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met.
- Supports Oracle Fusion people and learning management systems. Works with HRIS team to align the tools with talent managements processes.
- Manages external vendor relationships.
Minimum Level of Education and Training Required
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, instructional design or related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Level of Knowledge and Skills Required
- Excellent knowledge and familiarity with organizational development theories and practices including knowledge of leadership training/design.
- Excellent knowledge of current business unit/location structures and leadership.
- Demonstrated success applying learning and development theories and practices.
- Good knowledge of labor and employment laws.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced level of proficiency in HRIS training and development modules, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
